Santacittarama Buddhist Monastery
“The Garden of the Serene Heart,” is a small monastery, the first in Italy of the Theravada tradition, “The Way of the Elders.” It was founded in 1990 to meet the interest and desire expressed by both Italian Buddhists and immigrants from the Asian community (particularly Thai, Sinhalese, and Burmese).
